Parenting Classes

Are you baffled by power struggles and resistance, or stymied about how to effectively invite your child’s cooperation?

Do you long to spend less time lecturing, nagging and punishing?

Would you like to find better ways to approach issues such as homework? Chores? Sibling arguments?

Do you yearn for a greater sense of cooperation and mutual respect in your family?

If so, here is a wonderful opportunity!

Based on the best-selling Positive Discipline series, by Jane Nelsen, et al, this program helps parents to teach their children important life skills in a manner that is respectful to both the parents and the children. It offers deep wisdom and practical guidance to help raise children and teens to be responsible, respectful and resourceful members of their community. The classes promise to be full of lively discussion, helpful materials, and lots of laughter.

To register, phone 828-253-8507 or email Genevieve.

In lieu of classes this January, Genevieve is offering a series of monthly gatherings for parents who have completed one or more of the courses. For more information about this opportunity, phone 828-253-8507, or email Genevieve. Future classes will be posted as they are scheduled.
